Pre-Series A Financing Completed
( CEO: Kazuhiko Nishioka, "SUN METALON") is pleased to announce that it has raised a total of 800 million yen in a pre-series A round of financing.
In addition to existing investors UTEC (University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners, Inc.), D4V (Design for Ventures), and Berkeley SkyDeck (University of California Berkeley), SUN METALON has received new investors Globis Capital Partners K.K., a new investor, has raised a total of approximately 800 million yen (US$5.6 million) was raised. With this latest fundraising, the total amount raised since the company's establishment is approximately 1.1 billion yen (US$7.7 million).
Since its establishment in February 2021, the Company has led the world in democratizing and spreading the use of metal 3D parts based on its proprietary ultra-fast metal 3D printing technology, which is 500 times faster than conventional technologies.
In the future, we will continue to strive for a world where metal parts can be produced anytime, anywhere using local resources with SUN METALON's 3D printing technology.
